Here is an option to consider. The kilim rug is about 40 years old. Maybe a little bit more. She is in a good acceptable condition. There are repairs on the kilim rug invisible to the eye. I must say this is not one of those ultra thin bodies. Quite the contrary she is quite thick for a rug. It is simply because the kilim rug comes from a region where the winters are cold and those who made the kilim made sure she was as thick as possible. The thickness of the kilim also shows that the wool is from that region too. For pure wool work, the region that the sheep lives may make a difference on the structure of the wool.
