You are getting 1 shelf / board. It measures 48" long, 11.25" wide, and 5/8" thick. These make great shelves, or table tops. Get 2, and butt them together on the edge, to make a roomy desk. These are made from the wood species Poplar. Poplar varies in color from white to black, with the most common colors being cream, and light green. Some even have purple hues. These are great boards, and the colors and grain really looks stunning when you apply a finish. I suggest a Spar Urethane.
