The neon dwarf rainbow fish is a freshwater species with a very peaceful nature that makes them a good community fish, moderate plants needed, not to picky about water conditions, 72 to 82 Fahrenheit will b good for them. They seem to breed easily in java moss, I have promoted breeding successfully when keeping java in the tank.
