The AM53 features a sapele top, back and sides in resonant transparent flat finish. The fingerboard is rich rosewood contrasted by white dot inlays, set to a slim mahogany set-in neck that has proven its reliability on thousands of Ibanez hollow and semi-hollow bodies throughout the years.
