The Cape Cool formula mix has a neater, compact habit and smaller leaves than older hybrid varieties. Streptocarpus blooms continuously from late spring through fall with regular dead heading. Many 2.5-inch diameter flowers are born in a mix of colors. Plants are maintenance, pest and disease free requiring no significant care aside from occasional feeding and watering. Uses/Culture: Ideal for edging, window boxes and other container gardens. Also suitable for use as a houseplant. Grows best in partial shade with consistently moist but well-draining soil. Germination Requirements: Germination occurs in about two weeks under warm, moist conditions. Do not exclude light.
