• Elusive is one of several small, look-alike, white, trumpet-shaped crinum.  It has an attractive, blush pink on the outside of the bud and inside the flower when it first opens.  The filaments are withe and the outer half of the pistil is pink.  It is a reliable bloomer every year from June - September here in northeast Florida, zone 9
• The flowers open wide and the scape holds the flowers erect.  We have recorded as many as 8 flowers on scapes up to about 24" tall.  The bulbs are small, never exceeding 3" in diameter.   Mature bulbs offset regularly forming several new offsets each year.  We gave it this name because we have been trying for 15 years to locate the actual 'Elsie/Miss Elsie' which continues to elude us.
• We are offering this for the first time on EBay in 2014.  During the daytime they have a musky-anice fragrance similar to bulbispermum but smell sweeter in the evening more like crinum asiaticum.  They will form beautiful clumps if left undisturbed for many years
• These plants have more erect leaves and a small clump of bulbs does not require more than about one square foot of space. We grow over 1000 different crinum including about 350 of our own hybrids.
