Control box for the VidCasterIP HD distribution system The Datatronix DT-HDVD-IPSTR-CB is the control box for the VidCasterIP HD distribution system. The VidCasterIP Control Box receives routing commands from a user interface, such as an iPad or PC on the network, then communicates which signal each decoder should display. This solution allows the operator the advantage of creating display groups to allow multiple endpoints and to receive instantaneous content changes via one operator command. For example, placing one of several sources (a set top box with the big game on) to all, or only to specific TVs, while placing other programming to other TVs. Used as an A/V control device for managing, configuring and controlling H.264 encoders The DT-HDVD-IPSTR-CB is used as an A/V control device for managing, configuring and controlling H.264 encoders and decoders on the local area network. It features two Ethernet ports and two RS232 ports, offering integration-friendly control features-LAN (Telnet & Web GUI), a third party controller (API) providing simple, flexible control and management options. The DT-HDVD-IPSTR-CB can automatically search for and display H.264 encoders and decoders. It is compatible with the configuration file from a PC configurator and uses the imported configuration file to perform operations on encoders and decoders such as matrix switching, video wall and multi-view.
