The Pink Tower consists of a series of ten graduated cubes from 1cm to 10cm. A spare 1cm cube is included.;The Pink Tower is used to develop visual and muscular discrimination of size in three dimensions and to develop co-ordination and fine motor control. It offers an early pre-maths experience of comparison and seriation, and the opportunity to use vocabulary of size. Initially the tower is built with the cubes placed centrally on another.;Later the tower is built with two flat sides and the smallest cube travels down the steps fitting each step exactly to reinforce the relationship between it and the change in size of the series of cubes.;The Broad Stair and Pink Tower can be combined and the interrelationships of size explored. This is an Economy product and is made from a light hardwood rather than a heavy hardwood. This is lighter and more prone to dents and therefore paint chips.;Our Economy range has been made to keep the price of key pieces as low as possible by using cheaper materials.
