The set consists of 15 nested dolls turned from a linden. For production of folding toys usually choose soft wood because it is easy to work with it. The linden before turning is dried within 2 years therefore nested dolls for a long time keep an original form. Figures from a set have a stocky form that is characteristic for the Sergiyevo-Posadsky national toy. On them girls in gold kokoshniks, red scarfs with patterns in the style of a Khokhloma list and sundresses embroidered by gold are represented. On their aprons - the different household scenes from life of the Russian people which are skillfully transferred in technology of varnish tiny painting of realistic Fedoskin.
