This beautiful Whiskey and Amber transparent bowl measures 7" in diameter, by 2" deep. To make this I cut 1/4" strips and chips of glass and stack them to achieve a basket weave look. I fired it in a kiln to fully fuse the pieces together. I then return it to the kiln draped over a bowl mold, to get its shape, and fired to 1250o. These bowls are beautiful empty, but look wonderful with sea shells, grapes... displayed in them. It is food safe, but not dishwasher safe.
