Use in place of the small bracket included with opener, this bracket goes from the top of the panel to the bottom of the panel to strengthen the panel when an opener is used. If the top panel is not reinforced correctly, all it takes is a catch in the track and the top panel can be twisted or damaged resulting in costly repairs.
