The tool is an economical alternative to the handheld heavy duty universal crimp tool. Crimp battery terminals, copper lugs, and splices from 6 -4/0 gauge. The tool has a wire gauge on the side which indicate proper crimp depth for wire size. A spring loaded indent crimp cylinder helps to lock battery terminal or copper lug in place. Strip your cable place in lug and insert under the indent cylinder and strike top with a hammer until proper crimp depth is achieved. Cast metal, 4" tall.
