It’s a dress that is simultaneously body conscious and forgiving – which is what happens when a pretty shape is achieved with princess seams. We did something unique with the hem, too – finished it with an overlock stitch, rather than turning it up and stitching. Keeping the fabric as a single layer at the bottom makes the skirt that much swishier – which is to say, even more fun.
