Vegetable Tan Leather

This leather will darken and evolve with you depending on how you handle the product and what exposure it has to sun, water and oils, including the natural oil in your hands. This means that your wallet will last much longer than commercial wallets and grow to become uniquely yours.

We use Full Grain Leather which is the most durable and expensive part of the hide. Most companies selling "genuine leather" goods are using leather that is up to fifty percent cheaper and don't age nearly as well.

Vegetable Tanning is the oldest, most time consuming and best way of tanning leather using purely natural ingredients.

Thread

A waxed, braided thread specially designed for extra durability and strength when hand sewing leather is used. The wallet is then saddle stitched by hand for a much tougher stitch than is able to be achieved with a sewing machine.
