Each one is hand carved and painted one - at - a time. The Whale is also hand carved and painted one - at - time. Both are antiqued to give them a vintage look. The body is carved from recycled pine. The oars come out for ease in shipping. This Whirligig and Whale measures 15 inches wide x 10 inches tall (not counting the base and the oars). The base measures 10 inches high.
