Here on Molokai we are lucky to be surrounded by hundreds of Axis deer who shed their antler every year for us to find. In 1868 axis deer were introduced to the island of Molokai as a gift from Hong Kong to King Kamehameha V. They are native to India and Sri Lanka. My husband cuts the antler beads and I finish them by hand to bring out their natural beauty. These slices of antler are approximately 3/4 inch long and are strung on hand made sterling silver ear wires. Custom orders are always welcome. Made with Aloha on the island of Molokai.
