This necklace features a beautiful heavy dragon carving, hand sculpted from an amazing thick AAA golden amber jade. The natural jade has deep amber and golden amber lights. I suspended it with strong gold tone wire from a 27 inch necklace made with amber jade tube beads, faceted citrine beads, Tibetan silver bronze colored bead caps, and bronze colored glass seed beads that harmonize with the various high and low lights of the jade stone. This unusually large and heavy carving is said to be a protection amulet, conveying the energy of the legendary dragon's protection and good fortune aura to the wearer. The dragon forms the perimeter of the carving, its scales intricately carved. The inner portion of the carving contains decorative curls, characteristic of the ancient dragon carvings. I have owned this carving for over twenty years.
