Each earring was made with an origami paper folded butterfly from Chiyogami paper in different shads of blue, paired with s blue faceted glass bead on silver colored fish hook ear-wire. Very light weight.

The length of the earring from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the butterfly is 2.25″. The width of the butterfly is about 1″.

The origami butterfly were sealed with several coats of Mod Podge and non-yellowing satin varnish to add durability and protect them from moisture. But they are not water proof, so do not submerge the earrings in water, or wear them to go swimming or taking showers.

Butterfly symbolize change, hope, life, resurrection, rebirth, new beginning & soul.
