This leash converts from a long leash to a short leash in one super simple step. The short leash is approximately 1/2 the length of the long leash. Simply snap the clip onto the D ring at the dog end of the leash and you've gone from long to short! Great for working dogs, guide dogs, service dogs, therapy dogs and others. Use the long leash when leisurely walking or stopping to let the dog have a break. Shorten the leash when the dog is working close, in crowds, near traffic or in other areas where you need to keep your dog close. Suitable for all sizes and breeds of dogs. Not for dogs who chew on their leash. The leash is hand washable and should be allowed to drip dry. Mild soap can be used. Avoid bleach and harsh detergents. No other care is required.
