The Proto Standard SCS is made of professionally machined billet aluminum, anodized and laser engraved for durability! The standard Proto SCS is compatible with all 1-3/8" outer diameter steerer tubes and 1-1/4" outer diameter steerer tubes with the use of the shim (included). It is for use with 1 1/8" threadless forks only. Because the standard Proto SCS is tall and the Phoenix and Tilt forks are 1/2 inch shorter than standard forks, the Proto standard SCS is NOT recommended with Phoenix or Tilt forks.
