This is our take on the chest your grandparents had at their house. No, it's not lined with cedar but it smells just as good! We took reclaimed cherry and walnut and striped the entire chest, both inside and out. We even found some awesome old hinges that were just the right partner for this chest. This could be used as a coffee table with storage or to be set at the foot of your bed. You make the call, just know you'll be pleased with this where ever it winds up!
