DESCRIPTION
'Higgins' is a muscadine grape cultivar female plant. A heavy producer of large cream to bronze colored berries, Higgins can grow to 30' if left unprunned. A product of the University of Georgia breeding program, Higgins fruit is delicious eaten fresh. Fruit is 17% sugar and ripens early to mid September. Sometimes called Scuppernongs or fox grapes. These spicy-sweet, thick-skinned grapes are an old Southern favorite and can still be found growing wild throughout the lower South. These 5"+ plants come in 2.5" x 2.5" x 3.5" deep pots.
