Makes a wonderful gift for your favorite fiber friend. The yarn is fed through the swoop as shown in the picture (yarn and needle not included) keeping it from tangling. This piece was thrown in a white stoneware clay. It was base glazed in a Sienna Brown Matte glaze. Blue glaze was added over the brown at the rim. The right side of the bowl shows more of the blue than the left. The texture on the outside is enhanced by the glaze. Hand-thrown and glazed pottery retains the touch of the potter with throwing lines and slight imperfections. Yarn and Needle not included!
