San Marzano Italian Tomato Seeds. A determinate strain of the almost legendary paste tomato. The 2 to 3 ounce, oblong, red fruits can be processed into a rich, thick paste or sauce with unforgettable flavor. San Marzano Tomato seeds are also an excellent tomato for sun drying. Holds well on vine or in storage. These are heavy producers. 70 to 90 days. Compared to the Roma tomato, San Marzano tomatoes are thinner and more pointed. The flesh is much thicker with fewer seeds, and the taste is stronger, sweeter and less acidic.
