A compatible Dell 331-5310 SFP+ transceiver allows you to add 10GBase-LR 10-gigabit fiber compatibility to many models of Dell PowerConnect switches.  This long-range singlemode fiber connection utilizes 1310nm wavelengths, and allows for a maximum transmission distance of 10km (6.2mi) with reliable connectivity.  Two LC connectors allow easy attachment to most common fiber network types.
