50+ Alcea Hollyhock Mix Flower Seeds / Perennial
DESCRIPTION
- 50+ Alcea rosea, commonly called hollyhocks, are old garden favorites. When growing from seed, plant seeds in August or September for bloom the following year. Although short lived, hollyhocks easily self-seed and can establish colonies in the garden that persist for years as if they were perennials. Hollyhocks are very easy to grow, preferring a warm sunny location sheltered from the wind.
- Will tolerate moist conditions. Will bloom from midsummer to early fall. Be sure to leave the seeds on the surface of the soil, or just sprinkle them very lightly with soil or compost. Hollyhock seeds need light in order to germinate, so if you plant them too deeply they will not sprout. Will grow 48-60 inches tall. Instructions included.
