As I stood in the isle looking for flowers I saw this bouquet that I knew would challenge me in the best way possible. These soft light colors blend smoothly yet meet jarringly across the black charcoal paper. Each highlight is made with intent to be striking giving this single rose life on the paper. This art piece is sprayed with a non-yellowing matte finish which eliminates reflection from stray light and to preserve the artwork for shipping. However, as with all sprayed soft pastels this will not eliminate the possibility of smudging if it touched or damage from water.
