Description: This attractive original print was published ca. 1815. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'J.E. Marcus' after own design. Jacob Ernst Marcus (1774 - 1826) started in 1807 with his series of 105 etched landscapes, studies and portraits that were published monthly. In 1834 the plates were reprinted on thicker paper. This plate from the original edition.
