This is an amazing and rare item I am proud to be offering. This is a nearly perfect condition 4 1/2 x 6 vintage album page, signed Babe Zaharias in pencil. Overall, fine condition. Named the Best Individual Female Athlete of the 20th Century by Sports Illustrated , Babe Didrikson Zaharias (1913-1956) was on the women's All-American basketball team (1930-1932), won eight events in women's national track and field championships (1930-1932) and set records and won gold medals in the 80-meter hurdles and javelin throw at the 1932 Summer Olympics. Between 1936 and 1954, she won every major women's golf championship, including the U.S. Women's Golf Open in 1948, 1950 and 1954. Truly an amazing piece.
