This axe is a facsimile reproduction taken from an original example, featuring two piercings in the blade. One is the so-called, "bat-wing" and the other is a stylized heart shape. The head is 7" long and is fitted with a 20" straight-grained, hardwood handle decorated with brass tacks and a leather wrist strap. Note: While this hawk can be thrown, the decorated handle furnished with it is subject to damage.
