The top of the box frame has been covered in real sand and sealed with satin varnish to give it a wet sand look. The sand is decorated with Swarovski crystal rhinestones, and polymer clay seashells which are made from molds I've created from shells I've found throughout the years. Because of the way I create the shells, no two will ever be exactly alike. The box itself is made of wood and has been sanded and hand painted with acrylic paint in turquoise and coral, then distressed and sealed with a satin varnish. The inside of the box contains a handmade ring holder covered in muslin and lined with pretty ribbon with tiny pearls.
