All people around the world feel constrained sometimes, and everyone craves spiritual release, understanding and freedom. "Free My Soul" by Todd McPhetridge was created with this universal truth in mind.

"Free My Soul" reminds us that while life may seem bleak sometimes, while there may be some barriers funneling us into some sort of predetermined path, and while things sometimes feel black and white, there is always something new ahead. A new opportunity to see, hear, smell, taste and feel something we haven't felt before, or maybe something we have seen before but in a different way. Whatever there is, there is something that we go to.

Nobody can really say what lies ahead beyond the horizon, and especially not what lies off the path itself, but the unknown and our desire to make it known spark that adventure within us all that can lead anywhere. We may walk down that paved route. We may turn around. We may stand still. We may even traverse the fence and go somewhere completely different. But we don't know until we do it.

While we are not entirely free all the time, we are free to make choices like that. Each and every one of those choices can take us somewhere where we are free to do even more. It can ease that gnawing tension and over the trials and tribulations of life and free our minds as well as our bodies.
