The making of our rugs

The design is made from the highest wool quality from Australia. The Backing of the rug is made of Cotton.

Our artists design the rugs by hand using a special prickly needle with a mixture of ink and coal to create the design onto the canvas. The wool is then hand dyed and the rugs are chain stitched by hand onto the design. The whole process typically takes 8-10 weeks of making one rug

Customized rugs

We pride ourselves in our ability to customize rugs for our customers - we can produce, colors, sizes, designs and with or without fringes to suit your needs. Supply times for customed rugs are typically 2-3 months.

Maintaining and cleaning the rug

Our rugs are pretty light in weight, so you can easily give them a good shake once a week and they can be vacuumed as well, as long as there is anti slippery rug pad underneath which helps to hold them firmly to the floor.

In the event something spilled, it's important to react fast, and in most cases simply wipe it off using wipes. If it is something more serious, you can wipe it off gently in circular motion with some water and then just let it dry. Other than that, it is recommended to dry clean them once every year or so.
