The resin seals in the color and allows it to have a glossy finish. Titanium is the current material used for our posts and backs as it is considered a hypoallergenic metal. Many people with metal allergies find they can wear titanium earrings without risk of a reaction! Due to the wood disk not being completely sealed in resin, we recommend that your earrings do not get wet. Should they need cleaning a simple wipe down with alcohol will do.
