Although this ruler can function by itself as a traditional ruler, it has some extra capabilities. Specially designed holes on the ruler allow it to be rotated around a center pin, allowing you to use it as a compass and when used in conjunction with the degree scale tools from circle perfect tools, you can quickly rotate, mark and draw straight lines at measured angles (i.e. Goniometer).
