Manzanita is a small plant, so the yield is low, but we harvested this batch from our property and now pass it on to you in the form of this special cutting/serving board. Coupled with Oak, and one of Oregon's finest Myrtle wood. These three Oregon hardwoods make quite an elegant board. There is a live edge on both the Manzanita and the Myrtle Wood. Very unusual piece with wonderful grain. Handmade from start to finish, we craft each board with a skilled hand and critical eye. The pegged oak feet and curves from the two live edges add rustic detailing and highlight the natural source of the materials. Beeswax and butchers block oil are used to create a soft, long-lasting, and food-safe finish. The majority of our woods come from the Rogue Valley, where we live in Oregon. All are purchased from responsible vendors who practice sustainable-harvesting techniques. This board is built to last and so will serve you well, or give as a gift to a loved one--wedding, birthday, housewarming--the recipient will be able to enjoy it for many, many years.
