To assure proper sizing, please do not measure your dog¡¯s previous collar. Instead, using a cloth measuring tape and measure your dog¡¯s neck where the collar would normally sit, not high by his ears or too low where his chest and shoulders meet. The tape should be flush with your dog¡¯s neck without slack, there is no need for the ¡®two finger¡¯ rule. If you don¡¯t have a cloth tape, you can use a piece of string, or a shoelace and measure with a ruler after you determine the fit.
