The GMDL-BP does what 6 separate kits were used to do. The GM Door Lock, Alarm, Transponder, Passlock Interface from Directed Installation Essentials handles lock and unlock, driver's priority unlock, trunk and hatch, OEM security arm and disarm, door trigger output (-) and override the 2nd/3rd generation GM Passkey3 transponder Immobilizer and Passlock 2 immobilizer via data bus. No extra key is required for operation.
