Alocasia porteii 'Malaysian Monster' is a form with great character. It is monstrous not only in size but also because of its highly lobed leaves which give it a monstrous appearance. 'Malaysian Monster' grows from 4 - 9 feet in height and produces giant leaves which can reach 4 - 6 feet long. The leaves are held upright by thick marbled stems. Great Specimen in an Interiorscape. Containerized on the Patio or in the Garden. Grow it in moist well drained soil in full or part shade. Zone 9-11. Grows 4 - 9 feet. Full to part sun.
