This gorgeous enameled copper pendant features a tree and flock of birds on a green background. The pendant measures approximately 1.5 inches by 0.75 inches. The copper was covered with several layers of powdered glass enamel. It is then heated from underneath with a torch until the enamel has melted and fused to the copper. After cooling, the bird design was added along with a layer of clear enamel to protect the design. The back of the pendant is counter enameled to prevent cracking. The 18.75 inch chain and the lobster clasp are both silver plated.
