The Carbon Block CTO water filter cartridges by Express Water are used for reverse osmosis systems & other water filtration systems. Key Specs include a 5 µm micron nominal rating & removal of Chlorine, organic chemicals, unnatural tastes and odors found in TAP water.
This Carbon filter has High chemical Absorption and Efficient VOC, TOC and Turbidity Reduction.
The Carbon Filters are made of fine COCONUT SHELL carbon that offers a much finer filtration of suspended particles, chemicals & dirt.
Sediment Filter
5 Micron 100% Pure Polypropylene
The 5 Micron Sediment Filter is melt blown with thermally bonded 100% Pure Polypropylene microfibers. Compatible with a universal industry standard Whole House filtration unit or any other water filter unit with a 20" cartridge.
The cartridge structure traps particles for easy disposal.
Sediment Filters Reduce Silt, Dirt, Rust, Scale, Sediment, Coarse Sand and Sand from water. It's high Dirt-Holding capacity produces longer life and fewer filter changes.
Catalytic Carbon & KDF Filter
Catalytic Carbon media is used for the removal of chloramines, hydrogen sulfate and iron. The process by which carbon is modified by a chemical process in which the electronic structure of the carbon is altered for enhanced catalytic capability.
Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF) media can remove chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, heavy metals, iron and can reduce other inorganic contaminants. The KDF filter media also inhibits the growth of algae, fungi and bacteria. For this reason, the effectiveness of activated carbon filters can be increased by combining them with KDF.
