Feather Large Hair Barrette is designed and crafted by artist Cindy Cantelon. The Feather Large Hair Barrette is hand carved in wax and cast in lead free fine silver pewter with a touch of real silver in it. The attention to the finer details of the feather make this a stunning piece to show on your hair. The barrette is light enough not to slip off your hair. It holds a good amount of hair, holds all of mine and I have medium thick hair. For those lucky gals that have super thick hair it won't hold all of your hair but it can be a great accessory for holding back a portion of it. Measures 3" x 1/2" The clip is made in France. Silicone is used to attach the clip to the silver pewter casting, soldering the clip makes it loose the springy action. Once the finishes are complete a protective clear coat is applied to the piece.
