The Artillery set includes a noble command figure as well as five crewmembers in different poses and the monster metal cannon they serve complete with accessories; each one as strikingly detailed and painted as the next. First Legion created these intricate figures and hand painted them such that they can be used for either the French or Imperial Army. The German Landsknechts were Europe's mercenaries and fought for whoever paid their wages! The loading crew did the lion's share of the grunt work, moving the powder and shot by use of main force. Stone shot would splinter on impact, turning the projectile into a maelstrom of lethal shards.
