FortheChef's 2.75 Qt. Enamel Cast Iron Round Dutch Oven, Blue
DESCRIPTION
The beauty of porcelain enamel melded with the durability and health benefits of cast iron: introducing the FortheChef 2.75 Quart Blue Round Dutch Oven, made with impeccable quality at an unbeatable price.
Slow cook your meals to perfection with this 2.75 quart blue round dutch oven, a gorgeous workhorse piece that will soon become your go-to cookware. The precise castings and tight-fitting lids absorb and retain heat incredibly well. The heat is captured and held within the dutch oven, allowing for meals like roasts, stews and casseroles to cook for long periods of time without overcooking. Meats that are braised within dutch ovens become extremely tender where the meat just slides off the bone with ease. Marinate, cook, serve, and store food in these wonderfully versatile vessels.
The porcelain enamel provides the added benefit of speedy cleanup and eliminates the need for seasoning. While this product is dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand washing with warm soapy water to preserve the original appearance of the vessel. If needed, use nylon pads or scrapers to remove food residue, as metal pads or utensils may scratch or chip the porcelain enamel. Remove slight stains by rubbing with a dampened cloth and baking soda. For those frustratingly persistent stains, soak the interior of the cookware for 2 to 3 hours with a mixture of 3 tablespoons of household bleach per quart of water. In case of the truly stubborn baked-on food, bring 2 cups of water and 4 tablespoons of baking soda to a boil and then use a nylon or wood scraper to loosen the food. Always allow the cookware to cool before washing, and dry thoroughly before storing.
Please note that the black rim on the pot is matte porcelain, not exposed cast iron. Hygenic porcelain enamel cast iron is non-reactive with food. For more information, please check out our CRAVE Enameled Cast Iron Use and Care Guide!
