FW Bell 4180 Triple Axis AC Gaussmeter EMF Teslameter
DESCRIPTION
F.W. Bell 4180 Triple-axis Magnetic Field Meter, Gaussmeter, Teslameter, AC EMF meter This compact easy-to-use gauss meter measures Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) AC magnetic fields from power lines, home wiring, home appliances, office equipment, and other electrical and electronic equipment. This meter does NOT measure static (DC) magnetic fields from magnets, steel parts, nor earth's magnetic field. Our quick-start directions are included with the meter and will easily have you measuring the magnetic field strength in less than a minute. Features * Three-axis meter for fast, easy, accurate measurements. * Compact and light weight. * Includes Soft Carry-Case, Operating Instructions, and free Magnetic Field Guide booklet. * Measures magnetic field from 0.1 mG to 599 mG. * Auto Ranging moves decimal point automatically. * milliGauss (mG) or microTesla (uT) units of display can be selected by user by pushing Units button. * Basic accuracy is 2% + 1 digit at 40-80 Hz. * 25 Hz to 1200 Hz frequency response with less than 5% error in reading. * 20 Hz to 2000 Hz frequency response with less than 15% error in reading. * Selectable single or three-axis reading (3-axis is the default). Note: The Swedish National Energy Dept. issued an advisory warning that schools, playgrounds, and day-care centers should not be sited near power lines, and that children should not be subject for long periods every day to magnetic fields over 3.0 mG. All of our gaussmeters can check for adherence to this Swedish Government advisory warning. 12-month factory warranty.
