. GREE's ETAC has a new condensate (water) disposal system. The outdoor fan prop has a built-in slinger ring which draws condensate and sprays it on the warm outdoor coil for evaporation. This provides a better disposal of excess condensate and improves the unit's operating efficiency.

Note: This unit will not always evaporate 100% of the unit-generated condensate and blown-in rain water. if it's necessary to control 100% of the condensate, then a Drain Kit can be added.

The two-piece removable filters easily slide in and out from the front of the unit, and the front panel does not need to be removed to access or change the filters. The filters are 100% washable and can be used for the lifetime of the unit.

• DRY MODE | The ETAC will help to manage and reduce the humidity in the room, making it more comfortable. In DRY mode, the unit will modulate cooling mode at low fan speed until the room temperature is 4 deg. F below the room temperature setting regardless of fan mode selection.
• Internally, a bi-fan motor configuration allows for the whisper quiet sound levels while achieving the highest level of efficiency.
• PREMIUM SOUND | Your Premium E-TAC is also the quietest PTAC ever. Not only does it have 2 fan motors and a tangential blower wheel for optimum sound, the indoor fan will always run a minimum of 10 seconds before the compressor, to help reduce any compressor starting noise.
• AUTOMATIC FREEZE PROTECTION | Keep the temperature in the room from getting too cold, where water pipes might freeze. If the unit is configured for the freeze protection feature to be active (the default condition), then whenever power is supplied to the unit, if the unit senses temperature below 40°F (4.4°C), the fan motor and electric heater are turned on and will warm the room to 50° F (10°C). If Freeze protection is not required, change the configuration switch to turn the feature off.
