Haida Turtle, Tlingit Turtle, Native American, First Nations, Pacific Northwest Coast FINE ART PRINT. Custom Size & Color - "The Traveler"
DESCRIPTION
The Traveler
This is the third piece done in the Haida / Tlingit style.
While the turtle is not a traditional Haida/Tlingit symbol, it is a widespread Native American one elsewhere. The turtle is a symbol of the earth, and North America is referred to by some tribes as Turtle Island. In symbolism, the turtle is about walking your path with patience, serenity and determination. It is about peace, the taking of time, the slow enjoyment of life.
The turtle resonates with me, as I have moved far and wide over the course of my life, and have experienced dramatic changes. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I now live in almost the extreme South East of North America. It was a slow and winding path that led me here. ...it was quite the migration
These Native American & First Nations (American Indian) art prints make exceptional gifts for any art lover, and for many occasions, including Christmas, Birthday, New Home, Wedding, and more! Bring a piece of Pacific Northwest Coastal art into your home as unique wall décor, or give as a unique, spiritual, and meaningful gift. The style is based on the Haida and Tlingit tribal art style from the Canadian Pacific Coast. Uniquely spiritual, these depictions of totem and spirit animals of Native American & First Nations peoples, represent the beliefs of the indigenous people of North America.
