The 416 Design Hardware heavy duty door closer is a surface-mounted closer with a cast iron body that is ideal for high traffic applications that require security and function. The 416 is available in both Aluminum and Dark Bronze finishes and features precision rack and pinion construction, heat treated steel piston and spindle with needle bearings for smooth operation, heat treated heavy duty tempered spring for up to 250 lb. door, independent latch and sweep speed controls, adjustable back check intensity control valve, staked valves to prevent backing valves out too far and thru bolts with machine screws, wood screws and self tapping machine screws. The 416 standard door closer includes all screws and brackets needed for installation of the 3 3/4" regular arm (included), 11/4" top jamb and 5 3/8" parallel arm. Comes with factory limited lifetime warranty.
