- Boone County White Corn was created by Mr. James Riley of Boone County, Indiana in 1874.
- A very heavy producer of huge 9"-11" long ears and 18-22 rows of large kernels. Stalks are 9.5 to 11 feet tall, heavy, with thick foliage which shade out understory weeds. Very popular Corn Belt variety.
- SEED SOWING: Direct sow after danger of all frost. Seed rots in cold soil. Germination temperature 70F-80F. Sow seed 1"-2" deep. Plant spacing 6"-8" apart. Germination is 5-10 days, depending upon growing conditions.
