The Super Freak is an ultra lightweight high top gym sneaker (only 250g in size 7, less than many lightweight running sneakers). The upper is made of breathable matte finish nylon mesh with a unique webbing metatarsal cage that locks your foot into place. The design profile is pure Heyday with our wrap around tongue that can snap onto one or both sides of the collar. We included two lacing options because we're awesome and we think of everything: pink oval laces and black elastic laces with a locking toggle that are adjustable and don't need to be tied. Ever. The outsole is compression molded EVA for light weight and that's cushioned enough for cardio but not too cushy for leg day. A rubber heel pad reduces wear and tear on the EVA and provides great traction. The strobel construction (that's a construction method that is very flexible) and a 4mm drop from heel to toe combined with multiple flex grooves on the sole make these amazing for Zumba, all types of cardio and weight training. A removable elastic compression ankle strap can be worn multiple ways for custom levels of support or removed completely. The lining is comfy terry cloth like a sweat band and an anti-odor anatomically molded and removable memory foam foot bed make these the most comfortable kicks you will ever wear.
